Butterscotch Cafe @ Bukit Merah

This really tiny cafe(Really tiny) is situated in a place where you'd never expect.

It's right smack in the middle of Bukit Merah Central and its right cramped in between some shops.

Its just a 10 minute walk from RedHill Mrt Station! :)

 What really caught my eye in this cafe was their size though really, again to emphasize on their size, they only have an approximately 6 tables? Yes! And to be honest we were kind of lucky to get seats in this cafe :)

 

 So we had dessert called profiterole? It was rather plain and simple but nonetheless a tasty treat!
This place has lots of tasty treats, moreover I noticed that their desserts are rather french based?
Yes french based, they have soufle and churros(with chocolate syrup) down here

To sum things up, the staff here is as good as their food and coffee. Friendly, fast and efficient! And not to mention that the cafe is a Muslim Owned Cafe, so no worries for our dear Muslim cafe hoppers here! :)

Tilting your head up and looking for the signage of the cafe? *HAHAHAHAH*, nonononono. Look down! The signage for Wimbly Lu is right around where you're standing, so keep your heads low while looking for it.

PoTeaTo @ Yong Siak Street

Now this little young cafe is placed right smack in the middle of Yong Siak Street and it isn't really that hard to find. You could just alight from Tiong Bahru and have a 10 minute walk or so from this lovely cafe.


What I really enjoy about this cafe was their teas, I pretty much got myself an Iced Chai Tea Latte ( Couldn't bare the scorching afternoon) and cake. Got us some truffle fries as well which was rather a splendid side to add on for our cake, but what I would really suggest is their Brunch Menu! Though they don't have much to offer but I assure you their taste will make up for the lack of choice, it ranges from Fish&Chips to Mac&Cheese and even Salads!

But what really made our day enjoyable was the friendliness of the staff, and guess what? Despite their super friendly staff and not to mention helpful as well, this place has no service charge! What joy don't you think? So if you're looking for a little tiny cafe just to chill or have a little chit chat here and there I recommend PoTeaTo is the place for you :)
